Exploring new opportunities to invest in our school building.
In both 2022 and 2023, guided by feedback from our community and staff, Henning Public School District proposed bond referendums to invest in critical maintenance needs, renovations and additions at Henning School. These improvements would have addressed deferred maintenance needs, upgraded indoor air quality, built a secured main entrance and administrative office, an addition for career and technical education classrooms, and a dedicated cafeteria and commons area. An additional multi-use gymnasium would also have been built. In each referendum, voters narrowly rejected these improvements.
